What is the Future of News? Journalism Students at the University of Washington investigate!

With the decline of newspapers, journalists face an uncertain future. How will journalism survive the drastic change of the media landscape and who pays for the creation of all this “free content”?

Many experiments are in the making and we will show how traditional and new media deal with the financial issues that result from this change and that worry most traditional journalists.

The project has just now started. Some of us have concrete ideas of what we will work on and how. Others are in the exploratory phase of their projects. We will let you know what we are up to, what we are working on and contributions, hints and tips are encouraged!
